The mission of Chabot Space & Science Center is to be a place for students of all ages to learn and be inspired about the Universe and our Planet Earth. Nestled in the Oakland Hills surrounded by the romance of hundred year old Redwoods, a breathtaking observatory deck that boasts views of the night sky as well as the San Francisco skyline, and a beautiful, light-filled interior with an abundance of space, the Center is the perfect place for your event.

Working with a personal Chabot representative, we will walk you through your event step by step and determine the best location and amenities that we have to offer. From customizable themed corporate team-building mission in our simulated space shuttle Challenger Learning Center to Sweet Sixteen blowouts. From room rentals for meetings to private observatory deck viewings with cocktails. Chabot Space & Science Center is the perfect backdrop to make your event truly stellar.

Chabot Space & Science Center offers 68,000 square feet of exhibit space, a 240 seat state-of-the-art planetarium, a 205 seat theater, a Challenger Learning Center, 4 classroom spaces, two laboratories, and an outdoor observatory deck, all available to rent for corporate meetings, parties, and retreats, wedding and family celebrations.
